TROUBLESHOOTING
Trouble Symptom
An engine data screen will not
display.

Causes
The battery voltage is low
(Discharging battery).
Battery will not charge.
Wiring of the control system is
disconnected.
Connectors are not closed.
Contact failure of each
connector pin.
Fuse burned out.
(IGN. PANEL: 10A)
Fuse burned out.
(ECU: 20A)
Fuse burned out.
(IGN. SIG: 10A)
Fuse burned out.
(IGN. 1st Station: 5A)
Fuse burned out.
(IGN. 2nd Station: 5A)
Detecting error.

Troubleshooting by Symptom
Corrective Action
Check the electrolyte level and
the specific gravity of battery.
Charge the battery or replace.
Check for a short.
Check the wires between the
alternator and the battery.
Check the tension of the V-belt. See Check the V-Belt Tension
Check the alternator.
Connect the control system
wires.
Close the connector according
to the manual.
Check each connector terminal
and confirm continuity.
Replace the fuse.
Replace the fuse.
