Maximum Fuel Feed Volume Test
The special equipment illustrated in Figure 6-41
will be needed for conducting maximum delivery
pressure and delivery volume tests. NOTICE:
NEVER run the engine for more than 5 minutes.
The fuel injection pump may be damaged if
operated in non-injection condition.

1. Operate the injection pump at the specified
600 rpm and read the pressure gauge indicator
when Valve "B" (Figure 6-41, (1)) is closed.
2. Tighten Valve "A" (Figure 6-41, (1)) so the
pressure gauge indicator does not move when
pressure is applied.
Volume Pressure: 0.22-0.31 MPa (2.2-3.2 kg / cm
(31.9-44.9 psi)
3. Replace the piston spring if it is defective.

Delivery Test
1. Open Valve "A" (Figure 6-42, (2)).
2. Operate the fuel injection pump at the specified
