Perform 30 Day Service

The 30 day maintenance procedure is a one time
sequence of procedures to be performed after the
first 30 days or 40 hours of usage, whichever
comes first. After this interval, refer to the
maintenance tables for continued scheduled
maintenance.
1 Perform the following maintenance procedures:

Perform Engine Maintenance -
Ford and Perkins Models
• A-13
Grease the Turntable Bearing and
Rotate Gear
• B-6
Inspect the Tires, Wheels and
Lug Nut Torque, S-60, S-65,
S-60 HC, S-60X and S-60XC
• B-8
Check the Drive Hub Oil Level and
Fastener Torque
• C-1
Perform Engine Maintenance -
Deutz Models
• D-2
Check the Turnable Rotation
Bearing Bolts
• D-6
Replace the Hydraulic Filters

Check the Track Tension and
Fastener Torque, S-60 TRAX
and S-65 TRAX
Manufacturer specifications require that this
procedure be performed every 30 days.
Maintaining proper track tension and properly
torqued fasteners is essential to good machine
performance and service life. The machine will not
operate properly with a track that is incorrectly
tensioned. Continued use of a machine with
incorrectly tensioned tracks may cause component
damage.
1 Thoroughly clean the track assembly of any dirt,
2 Chock the tracks at one end of the machine to
