show interfaces counters
Use the show interfaces counters privileged EXEC command to display various counters for the switch
or for a specific interface.
Syntax Description
interface-id
errors
etherchannel
module switch- number (Optional) Display counters for the specified stack member. The range is
protocol status
trunk
| begin
| exclude
| include
expression
Note
Though visible in the command-line help string, the vlan vlan-id keyword is not supported.

Usage Guidelines
If you do not enter any keywords, all counters for all interfaces are included.
Expressions are case sensitive. For example, if you enter | exclude output, the lines that contain output
are not displayed, but the lines that contain Output are displayed.

show interfaces [interface-id | vlan vlan-id] counters [errors | etherchannel | module switch-
number | protocol status | trunk] [ | {begin | exclude | include} expression]
(Optional) ID of the physical interface, including type,, module, and port
number.
(Optional) Display error counters.
(Optional) Display EtherChannel counters, including octets, broadcast
packets, multicast packets, and unicast packets received and sent.
from 1 to 9, depending upon the switch numbers in the stack.
This keyword is available only on stacking-capable switches.
Note
(Optional) Display status of protocols enabled on interfaces.
(Optional) Display trunk counters.
(Optional) Display begins with the line that matches the expression.
(Optional) Display excludes lines that match the expression.
(Optional) Display includes lines that match the specified expression.
Expression in the output to use as a reference point.

In this command, the module keyword refers to the stack member
number (1 to 9). The module number that is part of the interface ID
is always zero.
