Cordless Handset Soft Keys

Table 25 provides an alphabetical list of the labels that appear above the Cordless
Handset soft keys.

Key
Function
Answer an incoming call. During an
active call, answer the new call and
put the current call on hold.
Backspace the cursor when entering
data.
Terminate the current operation.
Access the Call Log.
Initiate a conference call.
Delete a Call Log or Redial entry.
Drop a selected call during a
three-way conference.
Exit from the current screen and
return to the previous mode.
Access the Extension list.
Silence the incoming call.
Complete the conference setup.
Access the four viewing options for
the Directory: All, Personal list,
System list, and Extension list.

Function
Access Voicemail messages.
Cancel proposed action in a
Confirmation screen.
Initiate an all-extension page.
Pause message playback or insert a
two-second pause in digit string.
Play Voicemail message.
Record an introductory message to be
added to a forwarded message.
Forward a message.
Stop recording.
Transfer an active call from the
Deskset to the Cordless Handset.
Take a call off hold and return to
active call.
Begin the process of transferring a
held or active call and then confirm
transfer.
Confirm proposed action.
