Appendix A: Soft Keys

The Synapse Desksets and Cordless Handsets feature keys below the LCD screen. The
bottom of the LCD displays the appropriate label for each key as the function of the key
changes.

Deskset Soft Keys

Table 24 provides an alphabetical list of the labels that appear above the Deskset soft
keys.
Table 24. Deskset Soft Key Functions
Function
Description
Adds an extension destination when
forwarding a Voicemail message.
Answers an incoming call.
Goes back to Idle; in HELP menus,
goes back to previous page.
Backspace the cursor when entering
data.
Dials the selected entry.
Turns Call Forward on or off.
Cancels action and returns user to
previous mode.
Clears the active Call Screening
