5.1.4 Delivery of Error Information if Job/Form/Device Properties
do not match
PRISMAspool checks if some job properties match the properties and the capabilities of the
assigned printers.
Concerned properties are:
•
Media,
•
Use of spot colors,
•
Paper size,
•
Cut Sheet Emulation and
•
UP3I Stapling options.
Possibilities are given to allow printing even if a contradiction is detected (e.g : printing
makes sense when an output filter is used to adapt a job for a specific printer).
This new feature is available only
•
for printers supporting PJL bidirectional and/or SNMP.
•
for PCL jobs.
