5.4.7 LDAP server configuration

LDAP server can be configured in order to make an automatic filling of some WPE job ticket
fields with user specific information retrieved from a LDAP server.
When "LDAP Server Configuration" is selected in the file menu, the next screen appears
where all LDAP needed information can be defined.
This screen is divided into 2 parts:
The first part allows configuring all the parameters needed to connect to the LDAP server:
Hostname: name or IP address of the LDAP server (maximum: 32 alphanumeric charac-
ters).
TCP Port Number: port number to access the LDAP server (Numeric data, default 389
conventional)
User Login and Password: user login and password of a user that has access to the LDAP
server. These are used at connection time (maximum: 32 characters, alphanumeric data)
Search Root: node in the LDAP server tree from which the attributes values are searched
for a second part to establish a mapping between the five PRISMAspool WPE ticket user
fields and five attributes ID in the configured LDAP server (maximum: 64 alphanumeric
characters).
