5.3.3 Output Filter

5.3.3.1 Output Filter configuration File
The output filter configuration file is a standard ASCII text file. Comment lines will start with
a '*' in the first column.
To modify a PCL Sequence, you have to specify the PCL command without parameter, fol-
lowed by the value you want to change and the new value the command should be changed
to.
Output filter is executed during the spool out (printing) of the job. The filter notifies for in-
stance to PRISMAspool to remove some PCL ESC sequences which are not completely
supported by the installed printer. It also can be used to remove PJL commands when the
targeted printer does not support PJL.
Note: Output filter are applied only if the job is recognized as a PCL job (Data type = PCL)
