4.3 Installing Plug-ins

PRISMAspool is delivered with 3 plug-ins inside:
- The Input Filter plug-in
- The Barcode translation plug-in
- The Encryption plug-in
The Input Filter plug-in and the Encryption plug-in are part of PRISMAspool Base compo-
nents while the PCL Barcode translation plug-in need a dedicated license.
Plug-ins are binaries that can be executed at different spooling times depending of their
configuration in the registry.
The path to the plug-ins is specified in the registry (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFT-
WARE\OcePrintingSystems\Spooler) during the PRISMAspool installation.
This path defines the place where the plug-ins binaries are located.
