2. Install PRISMAspool 4.0x on the Server
3. Install Windows NT Print Extension (WPE) on client
4. Add a printer using this WPE port

Solution:
If you want to use a Windows Print Extension (WPE) or RemoteAdmin from a Client PC to
a PRISMAspool Server installed on Windows XP + SP2 / SP3, or Windows Vista, or Win-
dows Server 2008 you have to check and modify some security settings on the Windows
Platforms.
Next steps explain how to do this for Windows XP SP2, the same apply for for the other
platforms. You may find out some slight differrences in the screens, but the interface is ba-
sically the same; relevant differences are mentionned explicitely.
In Windows XP SP2, use
Start | Control Panel | Perfarmance and Maintenance | Administrative Tools | Local Security
Policy | Local Policies
Select "Security Options" and open "DCOM:Machine Access Restrictions ..."
