16.5 Cleaning the boiler

The boiler can be cleaned with brushes and/or by wet
cleaning. Cleaning tools are available as accessories.
Inspecting the ignition burner of the GC124 II
1. Observe the ignition burner through the sight glas
( Fig. 39).
2. The flame must rise over the sensor by ½" to 1-½".
3. The pilot ignition gas pressure must be adjusted if
the flame is too small or too large.
USER NOTE
The adjustment screw is located behind a
safety screw on the gas valve (
page 46).
