The following scan settings can be specifying when scanning a document.
These settings are specified from the touch panel of the machine.

Specifying Program Settings

The destination and scan settings can be registered together as a single
program. This is convenient for frequently scanning documents and sending
data under the same conditions.
These settings are specified from the touch panel of the machine.

Specifying Default Scan Settings

The settings that are selected when [Scan] in the control panel is touched
can be specified.

Before Using the Scan Functions
Description
Selects the file type for saving the scanned data.
Selects the scan resolution.
Selects whether to scan one side of the document or both sides.
Sets the image type of the scanned document.
Sets the paper size to be scanned.
Specify the density for scanning.
Specifies the type of document that is loaded, for example, if it
contains mixed page sizes.
Provides functions for adjusting the image to be scanned, for ex-
ample, for scanning books and for scanning pages.
