Problem description
Display shows CHECK PAPER.
Display still shows PRINT after a
print job has been finished.

Problems with telephone handset

Problem description
Dialling tone cannot be heard when
picking up the handset.
The caller can only be heard very
quietly through the loudspeaker.

Problems with connected telephone apparatus

Problem description
A telephone connection is not
possible.
The telephone will not ring.
Call transfer to your fax machine will
not function.

Possible cause / solution
There is a paper jam. Remove the
jammed paper and press the
[PRINTER READY] key.
There is no paper in the paper
holder.
The paper in the paper holder has
not been correctly inserted.
Hold the [PRINTER READY] key for
approx. 1.5 seconds. Display shows
PRINT STOPPED.
Possible cause / solution
The telephone cable is not correctly
connected.
The monitoring function is set at
quiet.
Problem description / solution
A fax is presently being sent or
received.
Too many telephones are connected
to the same line.
Software switch 08 is set at OFF.
