Operator call

It is possible to make an operator call immediately after sending or
receiving a fax.
Please observe the following:

If you pick up the handset and place it back on the hook, the "operator
call" feature will be cancelled.

If no-one picks up the phone at the other end during the long signal
tone, the "operator call" feature will be cancelled.

If the apparatus at the other end does not have an "operator call"
feature, the connection will end immediately after the fax transmission
has ended.

Making an "operator call" immediately after sending a fax

Lift the handset off the hook during the fax transmission.
After the fax transmission has ended, a signal tone will sound for
approximately 7 seconds.

When the person at the other end picks up the handset, a short signal
will sound. You can now start your conversation.

Making an "operator call" immediately after receiving a fax

Lift the handset off the hook during the fax transmission.
After the fax transmission has ended, a signal tone will sound for
approximately 14 seconds.

When the person at the other end picks up the handset, a short signal
will sound. You can now start your conversation.
What to do when receiving an "operator call"!
If you are called from the other end via the "operator call" feature, you
will hear a signal tone and CALL will appear in the display. Pick up the
handset and answer the call.
