Release of manual fax forwarding

How to manually forward received fax messages.
Please observe the following:

The fax machine from which you release manual fax forwarding, has
to be set at inband signalling.
1 Dial the number of your Minoltafax 1400 on the fax machine to which
the transmission shall be forwarded.
2 Press the [*] key as soon as you hear the fax signal of your fax
machine.
Enter the password selected for the manual fax forwarding.

4 If the password is accepted by the Minoltafax 1400, the CNG signals
are released.
❍ If a wrong password is entered, the ERROR signal (4) is to be
heard, followed by the PASSWORD INPUT signal (3). Should you
enter a wrong password three times after another, the connection
will be interrupted.

If there is no fax transmission to be forwarded, the END signal (2)
is to be heard and the connection is interrupted.
❍
If there are fax transmissions for forwarding, the RELEASE signal
(1) is to be heard and forwarding begins.
