Preparation of fax machine and PC

System Requirements

The Minoltafax 1400 supports the following systems:
System
Windows 95, 98
Windows 3.1
Windows for Workgroups 3.11

Cable Specification

The Minoltafax 1400 is equipped with an 8 bit parallel interface.
Please observe the following:
G For connection to the printer only use an IEEE 1284 compatible
parallel cable (not included in delivery volume).
G Use a cable as short as possible.
G The plug of the parallel cable must be narrower than 17 mm.
G
It is imperative that the supplied
magnetic core be used, if there is
none provided on your cable.
Connect your Minoltafax 1400 to a
computer to use it as a printer.
Make sure that the Minoltafax 1400

and the computer are switched off.
2 Insert the plug of the parallel cable
in the parallel interface of the Minoltafax 1400.
