Re-aligning the printer

Re-align the printer.
1 Press the [MENU] key 9 times.
Confirm your choice by pressing
the [SET] key.
2 Press the [MENU] key. Confirm
your choice by pressing the [SET]
key.
A test page will be printed out.
3 Determine which line segment on
the test print is closest to being
a straight line.
4 Enter the code of this line segment
via the numerical keys. Confirm
your choice by pressing the [SET]
key.
You will hear a beep. The printer is
now re-aligned.
5 Press the [STOP] key to return to
the standard display.
Always after replacement of the ink cartridge!
Always re-align printer after replacement of the ink cartridge in order
to get an optimum printing result.
Also re-alignable via PC!
When using your Minoltafax 1400 as PC printer, you can also re-align
the printer unit by means of the control programme, see page 10-10.
