Threading the Machine
• Threading the machine
Raise the presser foot lifter.
Press the Up/Down needle position button as
necessary to raise the thread take-up lever to its highest
position,

[] Draw the thread around the upper thread guide while
holding the thread near the spool.

[] Then, down around the check spring holder.

[] Firmly draw the thread from right to left behind the
take-up lever and into the take-up lever eye.

[] Then down through the lower thread guide.
(_ Lower thread guide
[] Slide the thread behind the needle bar thread guide on
the left. Thread the needle from front to back or use the
needle threader.
