Foot: Automatic buttonhole foot R
* When you select the buttonhole stitch, the screen
indicates the message, as shown, for a few seconds.
* The size of a buttonhole is automatically set by placing a
button in the rear of automatic buttonhole foot R.
* The button holder of the foot takes a button size of 3/16"
(0.5 cm) to 1" (2.5 cm)in diameter.
* Make a test buttonhole on an extra piece of the fabric
before actual sewing to check your settings.
* Use interfacing on stretch fabrics.

Attach the automatic buttonhole foot R. Make sure
the groove on the holder catches the pm on the foot
when lowering the presser foot

Pull the button holder to the back. and place the
button in it. Push it together tightly on the button.

* If the button is extremely thick, make a test button
hole. if it is difficult to fit the button through the test
buttonhole, lengthen by pulling the button holder on
the foot back to increase length.

Pull the buttonhole lever down as far as it will go.

Note: if you start sewing without pulling down the
buttonhole lever, the screen will show a warning
message.
