Clip-Copy

Video clips can be copied on an internal DVD RW drive, or external USB hard disk or flash drive. The copied video
clips can be viewed on computers running Microsoft Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP, Vista or 7. Refer to the Appendix –
USB Hard Disk Drive Preparation for information on preparing the external drive for clip copy.
Selecting EZ Copy in the Search – Export menu or pressing the

When the error message "Firmware update of the optical drive is required" displays, update the firmware
of the installed DVD RW drive. Please follow the instructions described in Chapter 3 – Configuration –
System Information section.
The DVR automatically assigns a file name to the video clip. However, you can give the video clip file a different name.
Highlight the box beside File Name and press the
video you are backing up and select Close. The DVR will automatically add the camera number (for example "01")
and ".exe" to the file name.
NOTE: When naming a file, you cannot use the following characters: \, /, :, *, ?, ", <, >, |.
Highlight Include Text-In Data and press the
