Clean the LEDs.
Make sure the affected print unit is
completely installed in the printer.
Remove the affected print unit and gently
shake it back-and-forth to distribute the
toner evenly. Reinsert the print unit and
try printing the job again.
Replace the affected toner cartridge.
Replace the photoconductors. If the
problem only occurs when printing black,
you can replace just the black
photoconductor. If the problem occurs
when printing one of the colors, replace
all three of the color photoconductors. If
you still have the problem, go to
Printing" on page
Be sure the affected print unit is
completely installed in the printer.
Replace the affected toner cartridge. If
you still have the problem, go to
Image" on page
Be sure you're using recommended
paper or other media.
Be sure you have selected the correct
Paper Type setting for the media you're
using.
Be sure the top cover is completely
closed and both sides are snapped shut.
You may need to replace the fuser
(11G0375 115 V, 11G0542 230 V).
