This table shows the selections available in the Calibrate Colors menu.

An asterisk ( ) indicates the current setting.

What it does
Lightens or darkens all toner
colors.
Lightens or darkens all toner
colors.
The current Light/Dark setting
reflects the average value of the
four separate density settings.
Each increase adjusts all four
density values up or down the
same amount. The available
adjustment range is limited so
that no single color exceeds the
±10 value limit.
Controls the color density for
each color independently.
Prints a sample of the current
density settings and a range of
settings for each color.
Enters the menu to calibrate a
single color.
Calibrates the indicated color.
Resets the color calibration to
the default settings.
How it works
Press Menu.
To lighten colors, press
<-- (the number
decreases in 1-point
steps); then press OK.
To darken colors, press
--> (the number
increases in 1-point
steps); then press OK.
Press Menu.
Press Print.
Press Menu.
To lighten this color
toner, press <-- (the
number decreases in
1-point steps); then
press OK.
To darken this color
toner, press --> (the
number increases in
1-point steps); then
press OK.
Press Menu; then press
Confirm.
