7) Cut the excess corona wire to about 1 mm
or less using a nipper.
8) Pick the end of the corona wire tension
spring using tweezers and hook it on the
corona terminal.
Note:
i. Make sure that the corona wire is free
of breaks or twists and its gold plat-
ing has not peeled.
ii. Make sure that the corona wire is not
slack; normal, if the length of the co-
rona wire tension spring is 12 mm.
iii. Make sure that the corona wire is in
the V-groove of the height adjusting
roll.
