Security Settings

Security Settings

The Security Settings are used to manage
the security features of the device. Job
Deletion rights and Image Overwrite
Settings can be configured.
Detailed instructions for Security Settings
are provided in the
System Administrator
Guide.

Authentication

Use this option to setup the deletion rights
for authenticated users.
Job Deletion
Use this option to set which users are authorized to delete jobs from the device. Options available are
All Users or System Administrator Only.

Image Overwrite Security

Image Overwrite
If you have sent print jobs to the device that are confidential or sensitive, you can setup the device to
automatically remove any data stored on the hard disk after the job has been printed. Select Enable to
enable the Image Overwrite activity after each job.
On Demand Overwrite
If you have sent print jobs to the device
that are confidential or sensitive, you can
delete any data that is stored on the hard
disk after the job has been printed. This is
done using the On Demand Overwrite
option.
