dot1x timeout server-timeout

The dot1x timeout server-timeout Interface Configuration mode command sets the time that
the device waits for a response from the authentication server. To return to the default
configuration, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
dot1x timeout server-timeout seconds
no dot1x timeout server-timeout
Parameters
seconds — Time in seconds that the device waits for a response from the authentication

server. (Range: 1-65535 seconds)
Default Configuration
The timeout period is 30 seconds.

Interface configuration (Ethernet) mode
Command Usage
The actual timeout can be determined by comparing the dot1x timeout server-timeout value
and the result of multiplying the radius-server retransmit value with the radius-server
timeout value and selecting the lower of the two values.
Example
The following command sets the time for the retransmission of packets to the authentication
server to 3600 seconds.
Console(config-if)# dot1x timeout server-timeout 3600
