Application
This chapter presents an example illustrating ESC/POS command functions and printing results. The
example shows how to issue a label containing bar codes. Set the paper selection function of the DIP
switch to thermal label before turning on the printer.

Description
Sets the print position to the center with ESC a and prints
message A with LF.
Prints bar code after selecting the height of the bar code
with GS h and the printing position of the HRI characters
with GS H.
Prints message B using ESC J.
Sets the print position to the right using ESC a, selects font B
(9 x 24) with ESC !, and prints the date with GS FF.
*The paper LED blinks when the label is ejected from the
position where the label can be peeled off. Press the
PAPER FEED switch and peel off the label. The next label
feeds to the starting position.
