6. Position selector lever between "R" and
"P", disconnect gate on selector lever and
push forward.
7. Push front locking bar toward rear until it
engages.
8. Move selector lever to position "3" and
push rear locking bar toward rear until it
engages.

9. Attach gate in selector lever, install
rubber boot in correct position and
install selector lever grip.
IO. Move selector lever in and out of all
positions and make sure that cover frame
fits properly.
