7. While holding the screwdriver in place, carefully pull up
on the end of cartridge just enough to release it from the
lever.
8. Repeat with the other locking lever and end of the
cartridge.
Before picking up the processor cartridge, reduce
static discharge by touching the metal frame of
the system unit.
9. Pull the cartridge straight up and out of the socket and
universal retention mechanism.
10. Store the cartridge in an antistatic bag.
11. Install the upgrade processor (see "Installing the
Pentium II Upgrade Processor Cartridge").
