Installing the 500-sheet Paper Feed Unit
& 250-sheet Paper Feed Unit
Note
• Without a large capacity cabinet, it is possible to install up to 3 optional
paper feed units. With a large capacity cabinet, it is possible to install
one optional paper feed unit only.
These optional paper feed units can be used to expand the paper
capacity of the printer for convenient, high-volume printing. The
additional paper feed units can also be used to assign paper sources to
multiple paper sizes.

Remove the unit from its carton and remove its protective plastic
covering.

Remove the protective foam cushion from inside the unit.

Turn the printer off and disconnect the power cord and interface
cable from the printer.
Use the tab to detach the bottom frame bar of the printer.
