Operational Precautions
Moving the Printer
It is important to use the following guidelines whenever the printer is
moved or relocated.
The printer is heavy (approximately 66.1 lbs. or 30 kg). At least two
people are required to lift it safely.
Before attempting to move the printer, remove the imaging cartridge
.
Protect the imaging cartridge from exposure to light by covering it
with a cloth whenever it is removed from the printer.
Remove any options that may be installed on the printer and carry them
separately when moving the printer.
Note
• DO NOT use the drawer of the paper feed trays for lifting the printer.
Use the grips for lifting the printer that are shown in the illustration.
