SIMM (Single In-line Memory Module)
This printer comes with 8 MB of memory as standard. You can
increase memory capacity to up to 104 MB by installing a 4, 8, 16, or
32 MB optional SIMM.

Installing the optional SIMM

Warning
• Electric shock hazard! Do not remove any cover of the printer that is
not directly specified for removal in the User's Manual.

Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.

Disconnect the parallel cable from the printer.

Remove the top cover as shown in the illustration.
