Using the Control Panel
Most of the printing options available on your printer can be controlled
through the control panel. If you choose to control the settings of your
printer through the printer driver on your computer, it is not necessary
to change settings through the control panel. Driver settings will
override the control panel settings.
Use the control panel when:
• It is not possible to change a setting through the driver.
• You make printer configuration settings that are not a part of the
driver.
• You need to identify the fonts that are stored in your printer's
memory.
• You want to generate a test print.
• You need to switch between offline and online.
