Installing the Duplex Unit
When the optional duplex unit is installed, your printer can be
configured to print double-sided documents.
• Make sure that the manual feed unit is installed on the printer
before installing the duplex unit.

Remove the duplex unit from its carton and remove its protective
plastic covering.

Remove all of the protective shipping foam and tape from the
unit, including the plastic covering that protects the connector
cord.

Remove the three screws as well as the upper right cover as
shown in the figure below.
