Setting the Tray 1 Paper Mode

The Tray 1 paper mode can only be accessed when the printer is
offline.

Press the On Line key in order to take the printer offline.

Press the Tray 1 Paper key to enter the Tray 1 paper mode.

Press the Select key repeatedly to cycle through the media type or
paper size selections until you come to the one you want.

Press the Enter key to save your selection.
An asterisk (*) will appear to the right of the setting.
The printer will automatically return online.

*1: Before selecting a media type for Tray1, make sure that the dial located on the
front side of Tray 1 is set to a position other than User Set.
*2: TRAY1 PAPER SIZE is displayed only when the dial located on the front side of
Tray 1 is set to User Set.

• When printing on postcards, select
menu, set the dial located on the front side of Tray 1 to
MEDIA TYPE
