Printer Messages
Printer Messages
When a message appears on the printer's control panel, refer to the
following section for the description of each message and the action to
be taken.
1. Standard status message
shows the current printer status.
2. Caution message
displayed whenever the printer detects an error that is not seri-
ous enough to cause the printer to stop printing.
You can continue to print and perform any other printer opera-
tion.
3. Auto-continuable message
displayed whenever the printer detects an error that causes the
printer to stop printing. If Auto Continue is ON, the printer
automatically returns online (after waiting for the specified
time period) and resumes processing.
4. Operator call message
The printer stops processing and goes offline when this mes-
sage is displayed. Information that will tell you when or how to
resume printing will also be displayed.
5. Service man call message
displayed when the printer detects a mechanical problem that
requires service by an authorized technical representative. Call
Minolta technical support if this message is displayed.
