Clearing a Paper Misfeed

Clearing a Paper Misfeed
Use the following procedure to remove paper misfed inside the printer.

Inside the printer

Pull the side cover release lever to open the side cover.

Remove the misfed paper by pulling it straight out from the
printer.
Warning
• Never touch the copper and brass electrode that is located inside the
side cover and underneath the imaging cartridge, as an electrical
shock or printer malfunction can result.
