Installing the 10-bin Mail-bin

This unit utilizes up to ten shelves for outputting printed documents
from the printer.
Note
• In order to install the 10-bin mail-bin, it is necessary for the printer to
be aligned with the height of the sorter. The printer should either be con-
figured with stacked trays as shown in the figure below, or in such a
manner that the printer and the 10-bin mail-bin are the same height.

Turn the printer off and disconnect the power cord and interface
cable from the printer.

Remove the horizontal transport unit from the carton.
Remove the shipping tape (1 and 2) from the unit.
