Setting Up a LAN or Broadband Backup Connection

Using the NetDefend firewall's WAN Port
To set up a LAN or broadband backup Internet connection
1. Connect a hub or switch to the WAN port on your appliance's rear panel.
2. Conne
ct your two modems or routers to the hub/switch.
3. Configure two Internet connections.

To set up a LAN or broadband backup Internet connection

Connect a modem to the DMZ

ork in the main menu, and click the Ports tab.
The Ports page appears.
