Communications Preparations
• Windows Vista
1.
Turn ON the power to the personal computer and start Windows Vista.
2.
Connect the Hand-held Reader Writer to the computer via USB.
For details on connection methods, refer to Connections.
Wait for the following window to be displayed.

When the following window is displayed, select Locate and install driver software (recommended)
Button.
4.
If the User Account Control Dialog Box is displayed, click the Continue Button.
5.
If a dialog box appears for searching for software online, select the Don't search online Option. If this
dialog box is not displayed, go to the next step.
