3402 Ribbon Drive Clutches
Removal
1.
Remove the ribbon drive assembly (3401).
2.
Remove the retaining clip
e.
3.
Remove the drive clutches
0
and washers
e.
Reinstallation
1.
Put a light film of IBM No. 23 grease on the
clutch end of the shaft before installing the
clutches.
2.
Reinstall the clutches
0
and wasl1ers
e
on the
drive shaft so that both clutches slip clockwise and
drive counterclockwise (when seen from the
clutch end of the shaft).
3.
Reinstall the retaining clip
e.
4.
Reinstall the ribbon drive assembly (3401).
