3203 Forms Feed Motor/Emitter
Removal
1.
Switch off the printer power.
2.
Remove the top cover (3052).
3.
Place the printer in the service position (3053).
CAUTION
The forms feed motor may be hot.
4.
While holding the forms feed motor, remove the
three mounting nuts. from the right side frame.
5.
Disconnect the forms motor cable from J5 (3005).
6.
Disconnect the forms emitter connector J9
(3005).
7.
Remove the motor/emitter assembly.
Reinstallation
1.
Reinstall the forms feed motor on the right side
frame.
Perform the platen gear adjustment
(3201) before completely tightening the mounting
nuts • .
2.
Connect the forms emitter connector J9 (3005).
3.
Connect the forms motor connector J5 (3005).
4.
Check the emitter adjustments (3205) and adjust,
if necessary.
5.
Assemble the printer to the printer base (3053).
6.
Reinstall the top cover (3052).
