Macro Example

Enter a filename of up to eight characters
long. For this example enter.
DOSEXP.KBM . Entering the .KBM
extension is optional. but it is recom-
mended so that you can easily identi(v your
keyboard macro files. DOSEXP.KB!\.I is
now written
to
disk so you can reset or turn
OFF the computer without losing the macro.
When saving a file you can specify the
drive and sub-directory. If not specified, the
macro is saved to the current drive and
directory.
To test the macro. press ESCAPE to remove
the macro menu from the screen and return to
DOS. Press function key FI 2. the macro "hot
key". then type number" l ". Your name is
displayed on the screen.
If you type number" I" again. only the "I" is displayed.
This is because the macro default mode allows the macro
to be performed once and then re\·erts back to its normal
keyboard function. If you want to in\'oke the macro
again. just press Fl 2. followed by the number "l" key.
Now press F 12 and the letter
"D''.
The directory com-
mand is issued and the directory is listed. pausing w·hen
the screen is full: press any key to display the next
screen.
