Using the Trackball
Switch Auto Acceleration
Hot Key Sequence: Right Ctr! - Lo1rer Right
Trackball Button
The auto acceleration button. when pressed in combina-
tion with the Hot Key. is used to quickly switch the
cursor speed between fast. very responsive mm·ement
and slower. more precise movement.
Auto acceleration permits full screen travel \Vith mini-
mum trackball rotation. When in auto acceleration.
mo\·ing the trackball faster causes the cursor to move
faster in proportion to the speed of the trackball.
To disable auto acceleration. press the Hot Key and the
lower right trackball button. Rolling the trackball \Vith
auto acceleration disabled. provides greater control oYer
cursor movement.
The default mode is with auto acceleration ON.
Note: You can fine tune tracking speed and
sensitivity through either the Windows
Mouse Control Panel or with the ADJUST
pop-up utility. Refer to "Trackball
Controls" later in this section.
