The keyboard contains a mode switch that allows you to
set the keyboard mode of operation to match that of your
computer system. Other switch settings can be used to
customize the keyboard and trackball operation.
In most cases. you will not need to change the mode
switches. The keyboard is preset to work with IBM
enhanced. PS/ 2 Models and true compatibles that use an
enhanced keyboard.
Standard PC or XT models that use an 83 or 84 key
keyboard require a mode switch change.
To access the mode S\Vitch. remove the plastic mode
switch cover on the bottom of the keyboard.

The mode

consists of eight ON/OFF toggles that
are factory preset to OFF. compatible 'kith the enhanced
XT. AT. and PS/2 Model computers. The
TRAK
I 0 I can
automatically determine (auto discriminate). whether it is
connected to an enhanced XT or AT.
If you have a standard IBM PC. XT. or AT (83 or 84 key
keyboard). set the switches according to the following
table.
