The keyboard has a custom split cable that supports both
keyboard and trackball data. The round 5-pin DIN
connector attaches to the keyboard port. The second
connector is a DB-9 female connector that connects to
the serial port on your computer.
If your computer has a 25-pin serial port. you will need a
9-25 pin adapter. This adapter is available through Key
Tronic Accessory Sales by returning the Request Card
included in the back of this User's Guide.
Follow these steps to install the keyboard.

Turn OFF your computer.
Set the mode switch if needed.
Insert the keyboard cable connector into the
keyboard port on your computer.
Insert the 9-pin connector into the serial port
(COM I or COM 2) on the back panel of your
computer.
