The TRAK I 0 I allows you to adjust the tracking and
sensitivity levels of the trackball for different application
programs. Sensitivity is the ratio of mouse movement to
actual onscreen cursor movement.
After becoming proficient with the TRAK I 01, you may
want to adjust the vertical or horizontal sensitivity.
Different speed settings can also be selected that affect
cursor movement depending on how quickly you move
the trackball.
These adjustments can be made from Microsoft Win-
dows. DOS. or a DOS text mode program by one of the
following:
• Windows Mouse Control Panel
• Trackball Command Line Switches (DOS)
• Adjust Utility Program (DOS text based programs)
Windows Mouse Control Panel
From within the Windows Mouse Control Panel. you can
adjust the double click speed, tracking speed and swap
left and right buttons. These changes are made just as if
you had a Microsoft two-button mouse.
Command Line Switches
Trackball command line options can be issued at any
time from a DOS prompt.
The command line options for trackball adjustments are:
• /S<nnn> Sets both horizontal and vertical sensitivity
• IH<nnn> Sets horizontal sensitivity
• N <nnn>
Sets vertical sensitivity
• ID<nnn> Sets speed threshold at which the tracking
rate doubles.
