Position of the jack support points

positioning of the jack
If you do not position the jack correctly at the
appropriate jacking point of the vehicle, the
jack could tip with the vehicle raised.
Only position the jack at the appropriate

the jack must be positioned vertically
under the jacking point of the vehicle.

Take the ratchet out of the tyre-change tool kit

and place it on the hexagon nut of the jack so
that the letters "AUF" are visible.

If there is a total loss of pressure in a tyre, it
may be possible that the jack cannot be posi-
tioned at jack support point 1. In this case,
unload the vehicle.
