TIMER RECORDING
eAt the set time, an FM or AM station is recorded (enabling
recording while you are out or asleep).
Record the broadcasting station in STATION before beginning
timer recording. (Refer to MEMORIZING STATIONS (page 68).)
Perform timer settings with power ON.
e@ Do not raise the volume too high. (XD-J120/DC-J121 only)
NOTE:
Make sure that the erasure prevention tabs of the cassette have not
been removed.
OPERATION.
Example: To record the radio station stored in channel 2, beginning
at 12:00 and ending at 13:30.
1. Insert a cassette tape to be recorded into Deck Il.
®Timer recording begins in the forward direction (P) so be
careful which way you put in the tape.
2. Set DOLBY NR switch on the cassette deck to the position of
your choice.
3. Press the SET button, then press the REC timer selector
button.
4, Press the SET button within 5 seconds.
5. Set the ON time. Select the hour with the TUNING "—" or "+"
buttons, and press the SET button. Select the minutes with
the TUNING "—" or "+" buttons, and press the SET button.
6. Set the OFF time. Select the hour with the TUNING "—" or
"+-" buttons, and press the SET button. If you don't set the
time for recording to stop, it is automatically set to stop after
one hour. Select the minutes with the TUNING "—" or "+"
buttons, and press the SET button.
7. Select the station call number (CH) that you want to record
with the TUNING "—" or "+" buttons, and press the SET
button.
After showing the ON time and OFF time, station call number will
be displayed. The tuner display will return to the normal display.

Press the REC timer selector buttons. If the power is ON, switch it
OFF.

e Une station FM ou AM est enregistrée a I'heure rég!ée (permettant
un enregistrement lors d'une absence ou a une heure tardive).
¢Mémoriser la station de radiodiffusion dans STATION avant de
commencer un enregistrement par minuterie. (Se reporter a
MEMORISATION DE STATIONS (page 68).)
eEffectuer les réglages de la minuterie lorsque |'alimentation est
activée (ON).
¢ Ne pas régler le volume trop haut. (XD-J120/DC-J121 seulement)
REMARQUE:
Vérifier que les languettes de prévention d'effacement de la cassette
nont pas été retirées.
UTILISATION
Exemple: Pour enregistrer l'émission commengant a 12:00 et se
terminant a 13:30 de la station de radio stockée dans le canal 2.
1. Insérer une bande a enregistrer dans la Platine Il.
e L'enregistrement par minuterie commence dans le sens avant
(>); il faut donc faire attention au sens d'introduction de la
bande. j
2. Régler le commutateur DOLBY NR de Ia platine sur la position
désirée.
3. Appuyer sur la touche SET, puis appuyer sur la touche du
sélecteur de minuterie REC.
. Appuyer sur la touche SET en moins de 5 secondes.
. Régler I'heure de mise sous tension (ON). Sélectionner les
heures avec la touche TUNING "—" ou "+" et appuyer sur la
touche SET. Sélectionner les minutes avec la touche TUNING
"—" ou "+" et appuyer sur la touche SET.
6. Régler l'heure de mise hors circuit (OFF). Sélectionner les
heures avec la touche TUNING "—" ou "+" et appuyer sur la
touche SET. Si I'heure d'arrét de I'enregistrement n'est pas
réglée, elle est automatiquement réglée pour qu'il s'arréte
une heure plus tard. Sélectionner les minutes avec la touche
TUNING "—" ou "+" et appuyer sur la touche SET.
7. Sélectionner le numéro d'appel de station (CH) de la station a
enregistrer avec la touche TUNING "—" ou "-+" et appuyer
sur la touche SET.
Aprés avoir indiqué I'heure de mise sous tension (ON) et I'heure
de mise hors circuit (OFF), le numéro d'appel de station est
affiché. L'affichage tuner revient a l'affichage normal.

Appuyer sur la touche REC des touches du sélecteur TIMER. Si
l'alimentation est activée (ON), la couper (OFF).
