DNS
DNS is the abbreviation for "Domain Name System", whlch is an Internet
service that translates domain names into IP addresses because domain
names are easier to remember.
If the nei network server is unavailable when using DHCP, the unit searches for
ie network server and boots up more slowly. This network search continues
until it times out.
PPPoE Account
This item allows the user to setup the PPPoE login username.
NOTE: For accessing the PPPoE settings, select <PPPoE> as the
Network Type in Network Setup menu.
To setup the login username, follow the steps below:
e Select «PPPoE Account» from the LAN Setup menu and press ENTER. A
virtual keyboard displays.

e Use Direction keys to move the cursor to the desired character.
e Press ENTER to add the character to the username entry field.
e When done, move the cursor to «OK» and press ENTER to save the
settings and exit.
